Very recently I saw an extraordinary Bengali movie. The name of the movie is HAAMI. This movie, created in the social context of Bengal, has conquered the heart of the people. In particular, the child artist has played remarkably well.
It is a story of friendship between two lower primary school student. ’Bhutu’ and ’Chini’ is the main character of this movie. ’Bhutu’ is the son of ’Laltu Biswas’ and ’Mitali Biswas’. On the other hand, ’Chini’ is the daughter of Professor ’Srinjoy Sen’ and teacher ’Rini Sen’. The drama started when ’Bhutu’ kissed ’Chini’ as a symbol of real friendship which made clash between those two families.
Shiboprasad Mukherjee is outstanding in the role of ’Laltu Biswas’. Gargi Roychowdhury is unique in the role of ’Mitali Biswas’. Churni Ganguly is great as ’Rini Sen’s role. Sujan Mukherjee plays the role of ’Srinjoy Sen’. And in the role of ’Bhutu’, Broto Banerjee is outstanding and Tiyasha Pal plays the role of ’Chini’. Other actors who have played in the film are: Aparajita Adhya, Kharaj Mukhopadhyay, Kaninika Banerjee.As the director of the movie, Shiboprasad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy have made a great job.
The song ’Bhutu Bhai Jan’ has added a different dimension to this movie. Anindya Chatterjee has done a great job as a music director in this movie.
Suprio Dutta has done a great job as a cinematographer in this movie. And Moloy Laha is outstanding as editor in this movie.
