National award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar’s last few films did not show-up at the box office as it usually hits at one time. But this time, Madhur is ready to cash in on the issue of emergency.
Story:
This story is of the era of emergency, when there was outcry in India. While at the same time the stammering girl Indu(Kirti Kulhari) is married to Naveen Sarkar(Tota Roy Chowdhary) and she was called by the name of Indu Sarkar. People’s pain in the emergency makes Indu sad and at the same time, Naveen enjoys the government work. Because of this, Marriage of Indu and Naveen could not make-up and they got separated. Indu joins some organizations of that time and starts working in opposition to the government’s polices. She starts working with the Nana(Anupam Kher) team. There are many twists in the story and when the emergency ends, everything is changed.
Direction:
The film’s direction is very good. Cinematography, camera work and background are awesome. Madhur Bhandarkar is once seen in the genre of’Page-3’, ’Traffice Signal’ &’Chandni Bar’, which is amazing. The story of the film is tremendous. Dialogues are great as well. Although the speed of presenting the story is slightly slow which can be speed up. But in the low budget, Madur has made a very good movie.
Performance of Star-cast:
The performance of Kirti Kulhari in the movie is amazing. we have already seen her in the movie’Pink’. Neil Nitin Mukesh has surprised everyone. Anupam Kher’s work is comfortable. At the same time, along with Tota Roy Chowdhary, Supriya Vinod has done a great job.
Film Music:
The music of the movie is good and background scores moves along with the story. The songs like’Chadta Suraj’ and’Ye awaaj’ are excellent.
