Last week I had been to this restaurant with my team. We booked a table for 14
people. When we reached there they had a surprise for us. We didn’t find any
table for us. On top of this, they told us, they didn’t know that we called. Also they hardly cared to answer our questions. Some how I remembered the
number I called and told them that the call was answered by a lady. Finally they
agreed that I called them and asked us to split and take tables in different
corners. Since we went as a team we wanted to sit together. After fighting for
40 minutes we have been given a table arranged in a tight corner, where you have
to contend yourself to fit in. As we didn’t have any other option (even there is
no other hotels near by) we decided to take it. Finally the menu came and we
ordered our soups followed by the main course, etc. But the soup itself took 30
mins and the main course took another 30 mins. We were too hungry and finally it
faded out before we get the main course. The taste is not as good as it was
described. I can say it is very normal. Next is the cost. Cost of two pieces of
rasmalai is 150 Rs. I don’t think they serve this rasmalai in gold plates. Cost
of Hyd Biriani is ~350Rs. I could digest my food only because it was paid by my
company. Still I didn’t want to take the rasmalai. If you go to restaurants like
Angeethi in Church street, the food will be 1000 times better than this and cheap too.
Having their restaurant in outer ring (almost like a desert), I dont know why
they are charging this much. Think twice before you go this restaurant.
