Opened up recently, this place is a hit among all youngsters who love drinking or love going there to just grab a bite. Jugheads the name is taken from the famous comic book, Archies and friends. Another branch is called Pop Tate’s. Interesting isn’t it? Well to begin with, the place is not that accessible and might be a little difficult to find. But a few famous landmarks might help to find the place easily.
On entering the first thing that hits your eyes and your senses is the smoke and the loud music! So this place might be a no-no for non-smokers and people who like to dine in style or in a place that plays light music in the background. On one hand you will find the music blaring from the speakers and on the other hand you will find the television on with some or the other match being broadcasted.
On weekends it might get difficult to find a place and even if you ask for one in a quiet corner, you are definitely not going to get one:p. The seating area near the windows is a good bet and one gets a view of the road and people going by. In drinks, you can order a pitcher or tower of beer if you are a large group and enjoy yourself big time!
I am a teetotaller and brave the loud music and smoke of Jugheads just to dunk-in my head into another smokey item of theirs- the sizzlers:p. But to begin with, I love their Nachos with cheese and salsa sauce. Their babycorn and mushroom starter too is awesome. Well, really I love all their starters. You could also try their Margaritas which are plain delicious!
Let’s move to the Sizzlers then. Actually I have tried their Pizzas and Pastas too, but I never really enjoyed them as much as their Sizzlers. My favorite is their Chicken Indiana Jones Sizzler, which comes with a portion of rice, chicken in red sauce, french fries, boiled vegetables, corn in white sauce and stuffed capscium!. Boy, the sizzler sure fills you up! Phew! The last time I ordered their Caramel Custard and it was yummy! The place is not very expensive and does not burn a hole in your pocket.
