The first time I heard these speakers was when I was demoing a subwoofer, The guitar strums and vocals were very detailed, I stopped concentrating on the sub and was engrossed in listening to the overall music. It felt like I was in the middle of the recording of that audio track I quickly asked the sales rep which speakers they were and he told me its the klipsch r26f, Before he could tell me the pricing I was fallen for it already but I knew I could not buy them as I already have a jamo 7.1 package at home, what was I to do with them?
I kept thinking I kept dreaming of them back at home the jamos which once impressed me could not just break away my dream of buying those klipsch speakers, not being able to silence my desire to own these. I went and inquired a few places and demoed them again and after agreeing on a good exchange for my Jamo 406 towers we sealed the deal.
The speakers were delivered in 4 days since they ship from Bangalore importer.
The boxes were mighty huge and un-boxing them revealed a gorgeous speaker, black veneered cabinet a tractrix horn and two 6.5 inch copper wound woofers, these are one of the most prettiest speakers I have ever seen. they are sure to have your guests staring at them and going wow oh wow if you leave the grille off, or make your guest go wow that clarity that impact when you play it for them.
These speakers have a high sensitivity level so it can perform on a wide range of amplifiers. After installing them and calibrating it to my desired levels the bass these beasts put out is just amazing and the vocals and guitar strums sound so realistic you can just feel it. Though alot of people hate horn tweeters as they seem bright and fatiguing, I gladly haven’t found any fatiguing after 2-3 hours of listening and neither have found them too bright they are hooked up on my onkyo tx nr616. the speakers have a massive footprint and weigh about 19 kilos each, incase you do wish to pick these babies up please do go give it a thorough demo listening to all kinds of tracks you prefer for a minimum of one hour.
all in all couldnot be happier is made my center console look more prettier and made the music sound more real and engrossing
