Lalit is a very old restaurant near Goregaon (W) railway station. Now nicely decorated and gives a pleasant atmosphere with the trees around.
It has ample parking space outside the hotel. The interiors are done with taste. Gives a feel of upmarket place for newcomers. The rates are high to match. Good music, cleanliness and a warm welcome makes your day or evening.
Recommended for business lunch or even family dinner out (once again only if you have bigger than normal budget).
This restaurant has well stocked bar and you get any popular brand of liquor you ask for (generally). Once again, my food selection is limited to vegetarian dishes, which are excellent (including starters). I also get feedback from friends that the non-veg preparations are also good.
Staff is well prepared and friendly. You will feel like going there again.
A lunch for two (with drinks) could cost about Rs.500/- again depends on your selection of items & qty. Since credit cards are accepted, do not worry.
Sure worth a try for people staying in western suburbs.
