I bought this external DVD-writer from Lenovo via Flipkart on 28th July. Since November it’s not working. Its not getting recognised by any computer (tried on a few). I tried calling all the service centers listed on the Lenovo site. Some I couldn’t reach and the others are telling me that DVD writers can’t be repaired. The customer care of Lenovo gave me two service center numbers, both of which turned out to be invalid.
Now, they’re saying they can’t do anything else.
I even tried calling the retailer whose number was there on the bill. They are saying that they are situated in Delhi. They can’t do anything from there. There’s still one month of warranty left. What do I do??
