Ever since this restaurant opened up right near my residence, I have been waiting to go there, when I finally made it, I was told that there were no tables so I opted for a parcel instead.(This inspite of 4 visibly empty tables for the 35 minutes I was waiting for my parcel) Anyway, I ordered Grilled Sea Food with bread and came home to find a Squid rings soaking in brown Sauce and Fried Rice instead of the bread boasted on the menu card! Was very angry, immediately called up and was not even spoken to courteously or apologetically, was just told briskly that I would be called back.
Got a call back and then the person said I could speak to the "Chef" He in turn said this is grilled "only" and then put in brown sauce. Do people think we have not eaten stuff like this ever and they can just serve up whatever they feel and call it what it is not? Why grill it if it is going to be dunked in gooey brown sauce? And anyway it was grilled in theory only, actually it was just boiled. And SEAFOOD was just squid rings and 3-5 pieces of some strange tasting fish.
Very disappointing and horrid service. Why waste such a great concept this way? Why not call the dish what it is, or hire qualified chefs who know how to cook?
I ended up eating it(since I never waste food), quietly wishing it was going to be so tasty that I would forget the fact I had actually ordered grilled seafood. Turned out it made it worse. No spices, no flavors and not even enough salt! I have eaten better tasting food post delivery when food is supposed to be bland!
Absolutely horrifying service, execution and all this at a steep price of Rs.400 for a small quarter plateful serving! Would never recommend it to anyone.
