Well I don’t own this SUV so I can’t give the technical experience of it, but this review is based on my personal experience.
I got to ride in this SUV twice because of NTL service, as NTL uses Xylo SUVs a lot for its service.
My experience - It was a early morning and I had to get to Malar hospital, Chennai for early morning tests. Since it was Early morning tests, it was advised that I should not take any food or even not milk or water.
Since my body is a acidic one, the problem with me is, if I travel with empty stomach, I get vomiting sensation. And this happens mostly because of the sudden Jerks given the vehicle. So I was worried.
Since, my car was under service, we ordered for a ride from NTL. We actually asked for a Tata Indica, but they send us a Xylo! Hmm. So option, we got into car and rode.
So here we go with PROS -
The SUV gave no jerks at all. The ride was very smooth. Even though it was 8 am morning Traffic ride, the ride was very smooth.
the SUV has Great Suspension, which is also the reason for no Jerks.
The SUV was very comfortable. The Seats were very good and free to sit. It was like sitting on a couch in the home.
The SUV was very Spacious on the rear seat. I could stretch and relax my legs, which I could not do in any other SUV I have traveled like Sumo and safari. Even Innova was not that spacious.
The AC feel was awesome. The Real AC vents were very helpful for my mom! This feature was missing with Safari and even Innova. I am not sure about the newer versions.
CONS -
There were not much cons I could find in that 45+45 mins of travel, but here are some -
The height/Ground Clearance of the SUV is good for the bad road Conditions, but not suitable for short ladies. My mother felt very difficult to get on and off the Car.!
The Car Design is not so elegant. The SUV is not that attractive as we see with Safari or Endeavor.
Finally I reached the Hospital in Good shape and important without any Vomiting sensation. Really a good SUV.
But I doubt, how good is this Xylo for long distances.
Verdict -
This SUV is much focused for Comfortably and spaciousness and not for design or looks. I loved the spacious part in this SUV.
