Micromax seems to be on an overdrive. Ever since the Indian smartphone maker announced a revamp along with a new logo, we have been witnesses to a series of budget devices by the company. Micromax, which is the second largest smartphone player in India, recently announced its flagship devices — Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro — at Rs 13, 990.
Micromax Canvas Evok, a 4G LTE smartphone, is the latest device from the company at Rs 8, 499. The affordable Evok looks just like any other Micromax smartphone in terms of design and comes with a plastic back.
Micromax Canvas Evok features a 5.5-inch HD display and an ergonomic design. The smartphone packs a 13MP primary camera with 5P Largan Lens for enhanced performance in low light. Micromax says the camera is targeted towards young professionals. Canvas Evok is exclusively available on Flipkart.
Packing a big 3, 000 mAh battery, the smartphone comes with 3GB RAM on-board. It seems to offer good enough specs for its price on paper. However, when we Canvas Evok to real test, here’s how it performed.
