Money Heist is undoubtedly one of the best Netflix Originals by far. Spanish Netflix Originals have been usually well received and highly appreciated since ever. I remember the last time any show held a large audience in a firm grip was "Narcos", another Spanish Netflix Original. With Money Heist, Alex Piña and his team bring together an ensemble cast of finest Spanish actors such as Úrsula Corberó, Álvaro Morte, Itziar Ituño, Pedro Alonso and others. They deliver their best performances in this stunningly written, perfectly directed, crime-drama. I wouldn’t spoil the plot, in case you haven’t watched it yet. But the basic storyline revolves around a group of misfits brought together by a heist mastermind known as El Profesor or "The Professor" in English, played by Álvaro Morte. The series give you chills in every episode with new challenges that the heist group has to face in order to resist arrest by the Spanish Police. The most important aspects that the show displays are the concepts of equality between the genders, allowing all characters play the big-shot in a fair amount of screentime, revolution ( retaliation against the government) , extraordinary intellect and brainstorming among others. The direction keeps you gripped throughout the duration of an episode. The performances are stellar in every possible way. In all, Money Heist aka La Casa De Papel is a must watch and binge-worthy as well.
