I bought Moto G 5 plus unlocked mobile from USA and returned to India. The ON / OFF switch becomes defective, Unable to switch it off. When I approached Authorised Service Center on 4th Aug 2018 @ Siva Shanmugam Road, Tambaram, Chennai invoking the warranty the service center refused to give waranty service stating only mobiles bought in INDIA can be given warranty. My warranty expires in Nov 2018. Escalated the issue thru chat also. Asked them whether they are a global company or not? Asked them whether you want me to go to USA to get it serviced?
The customer care 1800 419 6686 / chat service denied warranty. The company is outright cheaters. I drew their attention iphone and Samsung give global warranty and what is wrong with this motorola. Why did you sell unlocked smartphone in USA then? The mobile was bought from COSTCO. Let not COSTCO sell unlocked motorola mobiles in their stores
