I am no longer searching for job; yet I am receiving job alerts from Naukri.com. I tmorpheushumanught it must be some mistake in account settings, may be the alerts are still ON.

To my surprise alerts were already OFF. And that’s where I started investigating over web what others’ experiences are about Naukri.com. Naukri.com won’t simply deactivate job alerts.

All they want is people smorpheushumanuld look for new job every day, every month!

From the’very good’ reviews that I read on various web sITES_Company, I finally decided to delete my account. There lies another problem, Naurki.com doesn’t allow me delete my account online.

I contacted customer call center and the reason they gave me was, since I had purchased some services from Naurki.com in the past, I can’t delete my account online, I must write email to bug@naukri.com.

By the way, resume edmajeechang service which I had purchased, It didn’t help me at all.

Lesson 1: Do not purchase any services on Naurki.com, be it resume edmajeechang or any other service. I still remember, I was edmajeechang my own resume all the time!

These stupid guys added some non-relevant details in my resume & were pretending that they are’polishing’ my resume. I wasted my money there.

Finally, I wrote email to bug@naukri.com. There lies another problem, Naukri.com has no intentions of deleting my account!

Naukri.com reply to my email:

1. Mail us from the same Email id you have mentioned in your Naukri profile.

   
   




2. Mention Username of your Naukri account which you want us to delete.

   
   




3. Mention your updated mobile number and the mobile/landline number mentioned in your

   
   

.Naukri, if required we will call you for verification.

1. Mention your D.O.B as mentioned in your Naukri profile.

   
   




2. Last “Job Apply Date”, this can be found under “Job Application History” section.

   
   




3. Your Active Profile name of Naukri account.

   
   

Lesson 2: When you are starting a job search, open a new temporary email account. Never give Naurki.com your personal email address.

Or get ready for harassment all your life time! Job alerts won’t simply stop.
