You can keep the MILO !

When I was working, I worked in the medical equipment and supply field. Supply, pertaining to soft goods and nutritional supplements. At times we had to order and deliver high energy type drinks and food supplement drinks. Being curious, we(the office staff) would always taste a little of everything, including, but not limited to Nestle Milo.

I have on occasion tasted, Red Bull Energy Drink. It tastes like an overly sweet berrylike soda. Purdey Active Energy Vitamin Enriched Drink. Carbonated and unique taste(not too bad really). Boost Supplement. Thick, chocolate(or other flavors) Gritty and too sweet.Ensure Supplement. See Boost, etc., etc.

The list goes on and on. None of them are really very good tasting and yet none of them are really terribly bad. Actually, they are all drinkable, to a point.

They all use caffeine to give you that extra boost. And they all contain a lot of sugar.(since it is a natural[sic] energy booster). Some have other added ingredients like ginseng and taurine(amino acid) and added vitamins. But they are all basically the same.

Except Nestle Milo It is absolutely vile! It is overly sweet to a point where it tastes sour and bitter. Literally bitter to where it makes you purse your lips into a pucker. It was the lowest selling energy type drink that we carried. And from firsthand(tasting) experience, I know why.

So if you’re in the market for an energy boost, STAY AWAY FROM MILO !
