Yes im talking bout the Nikon COOLPIX 4600.........and not the coolpix 4500. Well there was no mention about this model in the list so had to find the closest match.
I guess this model being one of the latest additions to the COOLPIXs list must have not gained much popularity yet.
To own a digital camera was one wish of mine that was known by many. So it didnt come as a surprise to my parents when one of my cousins gifted it to me. To see the name of the brand only made me happier
Coming back to the 4600, it is all that a still photographer can ask for, well atleast in my case.
The 4600 comes inside a small case(box) with the accessories some of which are supplied and the rest .........optional
The supplied accessories :-
- USB cable
- Video cable
- Ni-MH rechargeable battery

- Quick start guide
- Instructional manual
- Picture project CD-ROM
- Strap
The optional accessories :-

- Waterproof case (not available in some countries)
The 4600 is easy to use and user friendly offering excellent quality pics
One can choose from seven shooting modes on the mode dial for different shooting conditions.
Just briefly listing some striking features of the 4600 :-

Talking bout the 16 scene modes, one can choose from a wide range of options like indoor party, beach/snow, sunset, night, museum, underwater to name a few.
It also comes with panorama assist where one can take a series of pictures that can later be joined to form a single scene.
It offers an optical zoom of 3x and a digital zoom of 7x.
Flash comes in four categories viz. Auto, Red-eye, night mode and back light flash.
There is a an indicator that shows when the flash is charging.
One can also choose frome 5 different image modes depending upon the clarity and sharpness one desires.
Some of the other features include blur warnings, auto transfer option, slide show, photo protect etc.
