Title : Excellent Mobile
Review : I had a nokia 3410 and it was really a quality phone (for phone calls and basic mobile features) but I wanted to have polyphonic ringtones and true tones ( I really liked setting the song as a ringtone...it is really stylish!!!) and a camera to make my phone model last longer without needing for new upgrade.....
My phone list contained nokia 6610i /7250i /6220 and I have neglected nokia 6600 and 7610 and other high end phones for the budget because their price is the same as buying a new PC and this phone may be fallen in water or robbered and would lose this large amount of money..That’s why I neglected them!!! Bad luck the nokia 6220 production is stopped so there aren’t new sets with warranty and also nokia 6610i and 7250i don’t have true tones and they have lousy conversation quality (hissy and low volume earpiece)....So what can I do?i really wanted a good quality new phone with the new stylish features with a moderate price!!My eye went on Nokia 3200 but I thought it has very bad keypad!!
I found a shop selling a used Nokia 3200 set so I have entered (not for buying it franchely but for trying the keypad with my hands .... I have found its keypad not that bad really and can be get used easily!!! This layout is acceptable and handy because of the small dimensions of the phone ...... So I went in the same day and bought a new one (with warranty) and here are my observations:
Pros:
- Very loud ringtones (polyphonic and true tones) and very beautiful ( most people who tried new nokia say it is the loudest nokia set and it really is!!)...It is also 16-tones polyphonic unlike nokia 6610 or 7250....
-Excellent call qulaity (loud and clear with low hiss in the background but not really noticable)....if you buy a nokia 6610i or nokia 7250 you’ll have to always use the loudspeaker to be able to hear but nokia 3200 is almost perfect -Loud loudspeaker to use it as a handsfree
-Excellent FM radio reception with a really loud and clear volume (you can set it as alarm in the morning and it will surely wake you up (don’t use the normal alarm tone because it will not be that loud to make you wake up)
-Voice reorder (you can record any call or any voice for maximum of 1minute and you can also set it as a ringtone WoW!!)
-Flashlight is very bright and usable
Cons:
-The display of Nokia 6610 and 7250 have more contrast...But it is a phone not a PC so don’t expect that much from it
-The display is STN like other series40 nokia phones that’s why it will not be clear in the sunlight so you ’ll have to put your hand over the the display to see it more easily(unlike monochrome screens which were perfect in this point)
- The camera is not that good less resolution than high-end phones but trust me the camera in any phone will not get good photos because its zoom is not optical it is only digital zoom!!so if you want really good photos go and buy a digital camera it will give you what you expect!!
