Happy for buying this!

After proper hunting, I bought this phone a month ago, for 8400 bucks. And pleased that it payed off. This review is all about the value of this phone, compared to others.

Looking at similar priced phones, the 5300 offers good value for its features - 256 MB memory, headset with FM radio, extendable memory, bluetooth. For similar priced models from other brands, you’ll be missing out on one of these features - unbiasedly - just try comparing phones at a similar cost.

So I bought this phone without any special musical love, but after sometime, I’ve got really closer to this phone. The music steals the show. When I’m alone, I use headphones for quality. When I’m with friends, I set it at high volume.  It drowns all the(comparatively) more expensive mobiles my friends have - and I flaunt!

It supports a lot of video and audio formats too. One of the AAC files I beamed to my friend - he wasn’t able to play it. And he was having a mobile 2.5K expensive than mine.

The resolution is good. Not so crystal clear like the N series, but more than enough. One of the wallpapers I beamed to my friend - it was really pixelated in his. Consider, he has a mobile 1.5K expensive than mine.

Other points of interest - the interface is good. Memory card can be password protected. Slide-attending a call is lovely, syncing with my PC is easy.

Now the bad points. Camera is average - and takes 3 seconds to shoot. Don’t expect to take shots of people moving around - you’ll get ghost images. The resolution is acceptable, though.

Battery life is average - as with other mobiles in this price range.

Overall, I’ve got good value for money, and I’m not planning for a mobile upgrade anytime in the near future.
