I fully agree- definitely faulty

I completely agree that Nokia 6255 CDMA is technically faulty.

I am Reliance customer in Mumbai> Earlier I had LG 7230 handset. That handset had problems with PC Sync software initially but LG was kind enough to send updated software CD which worked. It was a good handset with internet connection using it a breeze.

It also came with PC data cable and spare battery as well. But the hand set died suddenly while it was placed on shelf and refused to work. This happened just about 2 months after expirely of warrenty period. The handset had a problem of getting too hot with extended talks.

Earlier we did not have much of choice with CDMA services in Mumbai but with handset change card, my RIM dealer advised to go for a latest addition by Nokia to its CDMA range and I purchased Nokia 6255 a couple of weeks back.

It is a feature packed phone but I am sure it has inherent technical faults.

It switches off suddenly while you are sending or replying SMS. So have to keep watch after sending or replying SMS if it is working or not or else you will end up having a switched off phone in your pocket ensuring you miss important calls.

I warn prospective buyers to be careful.
