Took the test driving on the second day of its launch and bought the top end version RXZ . Driving in Mumbai was a pleasure with its effortless light steering. Remember it is 1.5 L diesel engine . May be it is on this count that Pulse is going to score among popular hatchbacks in the market plus the Renault logo. True..... it is badge engineering and can be termed a "modified Micra".
Visible design change in the front and only cosmetic changes at the rear end . Keyless entry in top end is a plus but nothing new . Interior looks above average . Ground clearance is just OK...... appears to be debatable down the line. Looks may appeal to either with Micra scoring positive only with fairer sex. No ABS even at top end version and the Price also is on the higher side compared to peers. If Renault goes for a second thought and prices its right , Pulse can very well translate into "pulse on the Indian roads".
