Admitted due to fever. Patient was immediately taken COVID-19 test, doctors said patient is affected by covid-19 but they havent provided us any document related to that and neither sent any documents for the insurer. While admitting the patient we opted for cashless transaction as it was a network hospital, being said they demanded 15K from us annd without they wont start the treatment and 15K is for PPE kit. 15K! for PPE kit.
Now, they are demanding us to pay money saying claim for cashless is declined. When I checked with insurer- supporting documents are not sent, most importantly covid -19 postive document. When I asked hospital to mail me the supporting documents so it will be easy for me in the time of claiming. Theres no response from the hospital.
Secondlt, Doctors are very rude with the patients and their family. They arent giving the complete picture what is the patients situation. Dear hospitals - WE all are in the crisi situation and we want support for each other to overcome this. Please do not take this an money making opportunity .
