No jokes but Note 4 is not exactly 4G. Or even 3G!

Everything nice that I want to say about this has been said before by others. I want t say a few things that I feel people need to know about this fantastic phone. The screen- outstanding. When you plug in an OTG drive and watch movies, it’s an outstanding experience. Next, is the processor. If you are used to speed, get ready for over-speeding. It’s really that fast. No jokes. But, there’s one hitch.

I got the galaxy Note 4 a fortnight ago, and have been using this with an Airtel 4G connection in Bangalore. And the signal reception of the Note 4 has been quite bad. In fact, another 4G connection(on Airtel 4G itself) was running on an iPhone 6 and that did way, way better than the Note 4. Leave alone 4G. Even when it came to 3G, the Galaxy Note 4 did not fare better than the iPhone 6 at all.

So, if you are someone who is absolutely clear about great mobile data on the move, try your SIM on someone else’s Note 4, and then consider putting in your hard earned money on this otherwise lovely phone.

I say this because Samsung does not replace handsets with that have faulty reception. At best, they will update the software and give it back. Which again is not very reassuring at all. Either which ways, it’s an exasperating process where they stonewall all your arguments successfully! So, try your SIM out on a borrowed Note 4, and only if you think you are getting good connectivity, even consider buying Samsung Galaxy Note 4! Which is exactly why I am giving this phone a 2 because mobile data is 60% of a phone’s overall experience.
