I love taking pictures and hence I got myself this Sony W830 digital camera from their cybershot range. I purchased this one because I had heard a lot of good about Sony.
I got this one in november 2015 for 6999 rupees from a croma outlet in Mumbai. It worked okay for 2-3 months. But now I am facing a lot of problems. What has happend is there is a lot of dust that has accumulated in the lense area and that is spoiling the pictures. Sometimes what happens is that on powering on the camera the lens simply does not extend which is so annoying. I had to go to the service centre for cleaning the dust and they took 3 days!
The one problem with the camera is that it doest shoot video in 1080p which is such a bummer! No slowmotion videos as well guys.The battery life is not good too! When I transfer the photos on to my laptop I see some unknown text files being created automatically in the camera sd card. I do not why that happens! It wasnt the case when it was new. This camera is very very delicate guys. do not drop it even from a small height. Would I recommend this camera to anyone? Well No! Its features are outdated and the camera underperforms. Many better cameras are available friends. please do a good research and dont just buy this for the brand. Its a sad camera.
