The Tag Heuer Formula 1 watch is a terrific time piece. The model I have has a red face and does not have the extra dials for stopwatch and timer features. I prefer the cleaner looking face. Many people compliment me on the look of the watch.
It is sporty and at the same time it is nice enough to wear to formal engagements. The Tag Heuer brand is famous for its classic sporty style and the Red Formula 1 does not disappoint. With rating of 200 meters for diving, this watch is built for an active lifestyle.
The bezel unscrews to change time and date and seals tightly to keep all water out. The weight is substantial and you really feel like you are wearing a quality piece. One drawback is the stainless steel clasp has stretched so I had to take to a jeweler to tighten it back up.
This was an easy fix and not a big deal. When shopping for a high quality watch under$1000, this is an ideal buy. It has instant recognition and it is so versatile.
It is one of the less expensive Tag’s that has a metal bracelet. Compare to any other high end watches and I think you will see the Formula 1 is a good deal.
