Features Mel Gibson and Elijah wood or Jamie Lee ?? I am not sure.
Set up during the World War II, Mel plays a pilot who gives himself to initial testing in cryogenics and body preservation after he realizes that he has no desire to live after his love meets with an accident and goes into coma. Meanwhile the preservation centre is abandoned in the war, but somehow Mel’s body stays there only. After 50 years a young kid accidentally discovers the preservation gasket and releases Mel. Mel finds today’s world amusing and his adjustments in reactions to today’s times. The highlight comes when he accidentally comes to know that her love actually was revived back from coma and IS ALIVE!! The climax is when he is trying to reach his love..and his natural body clock starts to catch up with 50 years and he has to reach her before the body clock stops. A real tear jerker.!!!

3. Life is Beautiful or released originally as Vita e Bella
Originally released in Italian, but has been re released in English also. This is a story setup in the background of prejudice against the Jews in Italy at the ascent of Hitler’s reign. Guido (Roberto Benigni) is a Jew in Italy, who woos and marries the lovely school teacher Nora (the leading lady ..:D ) They have a lovely kid (?:D) and they move on with their life. With Hitler’s ascent, the Jews are caught and put in concentration camps. The story heads up for an interesting climax, when Guido explains to his son that the concentration camp is an indeed a torture game for which the winner will get a TANK. Not only he wins the TANK but also Guido ends up protecting his kid in the middle of the concentration camp.

1. The Shawshank Redemption
Another one from the prison. Tim Robbins (Andy), a successful banker is wrongfully sent to a prison for murder of his wife. He arrives at the Shawshank prison where he meets “Red” Morgan Freeman (thanks 2anjana), another inmate who is known for his procurement skills in the prison. Andy goes through all the difficulties and the ironies of growing up in a prison. Andy starts helping out the corrupt prison wardens to stave off their unaccounted money with his finance skills. One fine day a new inmate tells him about the an chance encounter with another criminal who had in fact had killed Andy’s wife. Andy gets to the warden and tells him that he is not guilty and could use the new inmate’s testimony to free him. The warden does not like Andy being freed now as he has been filing and stashing unaccounted cash of the corrupt wardens of not only Shawshank wardens but of other prisons also. So they get the new inmate killed. This is the only hope that Andy had of freedom. Andy then has the redemption!. The climax is one that makes the movie number one.
