This was probably my third visit to the Dhaba on Outer Ring Road, near Marathahalli. However, in my view if a restaurant doesn’t get it’s Biriyani right it is better left alone. Well, the rice was almost uncooked and the taste was awful. I wouldn’t want to waste anymore time in this review except to say that if food is sometimes good, it would be by accident. They surely do not give attention to the quality of what they serve. And by the way, the service wasn’t anything to write home about either. I had to literally order a finger bowl.
The only reason this place probably succeeds is because it is easy to drive to and easily seen from the road. There is also ample parking place nearby. This has unfortunately become a key attribute of a Bangalore restaurant.
Now that I have ranted this long, I am sure questions would come up as to alternatives. May I suggest decent places like Golkonda Chimney, Herbs and Spices which are in the Whitefield area.
