The Time Travelers Wife is the story of a man Henry, who is a time traveler and his wife Clare hence the title of the book. Henry meets his future wife when she is a little girl, thats what they call destined to be together. The funny thing is that in the beginning of the book Henry doesnt know Clare is, but she knows everything about him. She explains everything to him, the whole time traveling thing. I wish that I could meet my future husband maybe I already have. Back to the book: this book has a lot of foreshadowing going on in this book. The thing that threw me off the most is the constant back and forth between Clare and Henry. When I started to read more, I got use the changing. I think that once you get into the book, youll catch the flow. The thing that I like most about that is that you get to know how two different people react to the same situation. An example of that is: Clare- running across the park scattering small dogs and squirrels, whooping and rejoicing. Henry- I see Clare running across Washington square, jumping and whooping, and I am near tears and I dont know why. Another thing that I notice is that they introduce people like your suppose to know who they are, you have put all the clues together to figure out who they are. Like when they first introduce a man named Ben. He is kind of like a scientist that will help Henry try to stay in the present. This book is a good read for someone that can dedicate enough time to fully understand the constant changing and confusing introduction of random characters. I personally really enjoyed reading it. I dont think that many 10th graders might want to read this book, but if they are intellectual, I think that they should give it a try.
