’Tu Jhuthi Main Makkar’ directed by Luv Ranjan is another Bollywood movie that fails to attract audiences in cinema hall. Thats why this movie’s collection dropped down 37% on weekend. After Shahrukh Khan’s Pathan it was hoped that Bollywood will now revive but this movie proves that Bollywood should try hard again.
’Tu Jhuthi Main Makkar’ focus on romantic comedy genre starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. The duo came together first time in big screen but their chemistry seems forced and unethical. It feels director Luv Ranjan had no idea what to do with this couple.
Film’ s basic plot revolves around Ranbir Kapoor a businees man and a part time breakup guru who meets Shraddha Kapoor’s character and then story goes upside down with long monologues and some fun comedy.
If we talk about film’s other cas then standup comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi is a relief. Bony Kapoor and Dimple Kapdia had no idea why they were in movie.
Music of the film is quite good. Arijit Singh’s songs can be our playlist for month.
Over all this film is nothing new to offer but for watch and forget you can enjoy this on OTT.
