Paradise, the place known for the famous Hyderabadi Biryani, hustle and bustle around this road, heavy traffic flowing all over the place, the Commercial epicenter of Secunderabad, the hub for all Visitors to Secunderabad is what every body knows.
Well, you just cross the flyover and drive 300 metres across the Gymkhana Grounds and move out to a more serene and quite place and you will bump across some 20 cars parked in the left and to the right you see the Theatre Tivoli. Just adjacent to it is Utsav-the Beautiful Vegetarian Restaurant- a delightful place to eat out.
It scores a perfect for the Location.
As you enter the Restaurant, you see on the front door a Poster with Signatures and few lavishes from leading sports Personalities Vishwanthan Anand and VVS laxman, perhaps a very very special place for him to dine.
The Ambience of the Restaurant with lovely high roofing, a central curvy staircase across the Fountain leads you to the upper pedestal which rounds off above and across the lower Base of the Restaurant in a Cauldron where Good Food and Good Service are the ultimate things that you can cherish. The lighting is quite well balanced, not dim like other restaurants where you can’t even see what food you are eating clearly.
It Scores a nice for the ambience.
Well, you have two sets of Visitors to this place.
Afternoon, they have Buffet Lunch for a cool 150 bucks, simply the treat for an Executive or Businessmen to bring in their Visitors. The food offered in buffet is complete and compatible for any type of eater-may it be Soups, Salads, Mirchi bajjis , Chat pattis, Several Curries, Rotis , Noodles, Fried Rice, Biryani and finish it up with lovely Curd Rice and Fruits, sweets & Ice Cream to dessert off. My Visitors from other lands got excited by the food offered here and it is a safe place for them to eat without troubling their Gastric bodies.
Night out, this is definitely not the place for wild waters, but a very sweet place for Family Dining and Birthday parties. The food is a variety of not so spicy North Indian Vegetarian delicacies typically non Hyderabadi style, are simply the best that you can get in this City.

But wait I have not finished yet, Utsav is the place for Festival of food and not just the daily eat out. The Rajasthani food festival by Utsav takes you to this most colourful place in India.
You are welcomed with a lovely Jal jeera and you see the Dress code of waiters, typical Rajasthani style, and the whole ambience changes to a new place, not to mention the Camel outside.
For the food, you have the mouth watering Thali comprising of Bajre ki roti, Missi ki Roti, Panchrangi Pulao, Lal chutney, Dal bhati churma and it closes out with Kichdoo and Malpua for dessert.
Then you have a Punjabi Food festival with different fervour and food.

How about the pocket? No worries there, the food offered here is a real value for money, let it be a Business lunch or evening dining. It scores a decent there.
If it’s a birthday party, the support from them is excellent, with Party cakes and music just to rev up the situation. The speed of service, courtesy offered, reservations and outdoor catering gives it a decent
Then what’s the bump in Utsav. Its immense popularity in organizing food festivals has turned into a trouble for the company. You can see 100 cars pouring in for the 160 seats offered in the Restaurant and no matter how early you reserve, you end up waiting for an hour.
If you don’t like waiting, avoid going on Weekends during Food Festivals and catch up early at 7.30 PM during week days.
Utsav is the place to eat in Secunderabad and my kid simply loves the food here.
