Incredibly poor care

My mom was admitted in this hospital for a routine valve replacement surgery. We weren’t advised of any risks associated with the surgery. We were told that the surgery is being done on a daily basis and there is nothing to worry about it. Her doctor was Dr.K.N.Reddy and the surgeon was Dr. Janardhan Reddy.

Immediately after the surgery, she suffered a stroke. We were told later that a mistake in the surgery caused the stroke. We were given conflicting reports on the details related to the stroke. Also, the stroke was also not immediately diagnosed and treated. The chief doctor, Dr.K.N.Reddy, who represented her, wasn’t available at the crucial moment.

In fact, he couldn’t be reached at all. There was no one to advise us on what was happening and what’s being done to help her. We got conflicting reports from different people. Actually, we got conflicting reports from the same person at different times. She received very poor care at the ICU as well. Some nurses were caring but most were not. She passed away after suffering for 2 months.

I would say her death is primarily due to the doctors’ gross negligence and incredibly poor care she received in the hospital. I would advise you not to go to Vijaya heart foundation if you can help it.
