I have read Several Books by Patrick Ness and his story always been unconventional and not very typical. I have read the Ask and answer and Monsters of Men previously and they have been great. So when my friend recommended that I read this one I went ahead and purchased a copy of this from the local bookstore.
This book has dark humor, and is the stroy of a boy and his mother who is unwell and, as the name suggests, a monster who visits them. It has a heart stirring story and what I like best about this is the story, telling technique of the author. It basically shatters your heart and touches your soul. It’s a Children’s book but a powerful one at it. Read this masterpiece and dig into this unflinching story.
