This book is a memoir of president Barack Obama. It opens by sketching Obamas early life and political career. This book is extremely well written, treats the reader with respect and dignity. It has both poetry as well as prose, but the prose allows the reader to understand the difficulty of achieving any legislation in the current climate of partisanship. It is an honest recollection of the first African American presidency written by Barack Obama. It attempts to be an honest rendering of Obamas time in office.
