I like Mohammed Raft’s songs ever since I was just 4-5 years old. Once my late mother told me that when I was just 4 years old I used to sing title song of "Mere Mehboob " .
Voice of Mohammed Raft particularly suited to Dilip Kumar, Rajendra Kumar & Shammi Kapoor .
Singers like Lata Mangeshkar & Kishor Kumar were having some controversies with Music Directors but Mohammed Rafi despite of his so good voice never showed off his ego or anything controversial with any one.
After 1969 when Kishor Kumar become popular after "Aaradhana" .he was side tracked by Film Industry as Rajesh Khanna became Super Star & Kishor’s voice was suiting to him very much. However when in 1977 he sung the sung "Shirdi Wale Sai Baba " in "Amar Akbar Anthony " &’Kya hua tera vada " in "Hum Kisise Kam Nahin " he became popular again .
