Searcing the source of MIND

A small article appeared in England in 1932 about a an englishman visiting India and his experiences , The article received extraordinary response from all across the england, ’’Paul Brunton’’ was requested by no. of people to write a complete book on the subject , On recommendation of a friend I came across this book , The book describes the state of Mind of an ordinary person born & Living in a materialistic society where there is no place for things like ’’Complete surrender to GOD’’ or ’’SELF INQUIRY’’.

The writer Visits various spots in India various temples , Faquirs but ultimately finds the ’’MAGNET OF PERSONALITY’’ in Maharishi Ramana , who enlightens him about the real ’’SELF’’ residing inside which is completely ignored as the self we identify is not the True Self.

A thief steals because he wants to be happy , we drink wine to get a kick and feel tipsy , we work hard to earn money and enjoy , So the basic nature of true self is to be happy, it is through the method of ’’SELF INQUIRY’’ , finding the source of all the thoughts , from where they are rising that ultimately you will realise your true being.

Paul brunton wrote many a books after this one but this was the best seller of all times and still is little difficult to source.you can check about’’SELF INQUIRY at     http://www.ramana-maharishi.org
