Simply Fantastic

At last here is someone that takes the arcane , the abstruse and the dreadfully difficult, narrates it in a racy, action packed manner and explains the meaning of it all. And does it wothout making the complexity seem trivial.

Rarely has a science(for god’s sake it is science- astrophysics, palenteology, particle physics, anthropology thrown in for good measure, chaos, extinction- ’’you name ’em he describes ’em’’)book been such an interesting read. And its not etirely due to the little ’’mad scientist’’anecdotes only. Rather it is the hard work of a person , who believes what he writes, passionately wants to learn about it all.

All in all money well spent. Nothing better for curling up just about anywhere if one needs to know something as also to read for the sheer pleasure of it.

Sceptical about most ’’Science made easy’’ type things, because if it is science, they cannot really amke it easy, I approached this book woith a lot of trepidation, started off with scepticism and finished it converted.

Yes the arcane can be explained, and no, it need not get too simple to be true.

I guess it comes from the gentleman beign a good teacher, intrepid researched and motivated by adesire to bring otu something.

’’the only palnet I shall ever live on’’ is really really fascinating. THank you Bill, you have brought it forth as a wonderous treasure filled place, and made me joyful of the fact that I live.
