Very hungry for food we went to A2B branch at bhashyam circle rajajinagar bangalore today around six pm. Too many staff with nothing to do, hanging around with a halo of arrogant, indifferent, noncooperative take it or leave it attitude worthy of rto, city corporation or govt hospital. fit for an only restaurant in the middle of sahara desert. overly priced, -35 rs for a masala dosa available for 15 next door?- for a spot which had a darshini style eatery earlier. system of collecting coupons for each item from a cashier who did not care what or whether the customer wanted or ate proved too much, fpr us. Running between different south indian, sweet, chaat etc counters in different corners trying to find out which menu items were actually ready, most were not. we walked out. we might have eaten good food earlier from A2B else where. But this experience blots it all and decided us never to step into an A2B ever again any where. Looking at A2B website it seems they may have ambitions of becoming a Mcdonalds, Dominos or US pizza or beat saravana bhavan. But one Bhashyam circle will guarantee your wings will not spread beyond Adyar where you belong. One bad franchisee attitude or management can be disastrous for the entire brand name.
We have to be thankful to A2B for sending guests out feeling like paying beggars in a country famous for Athithi devo Bhava.
