Me and my family coming out of the Perambur railway station, decided to have our dinner at A2B. We entered the restaurant and when were about to sit at a table, the waiter ordered us to take the table next to the one we were about to sit because there was another family that entered the restaurant had more number of people than in mine.
Though they entered the restaurant after us, we were asked to move away from the place where we were about to sit. Which is something I dont like, as Im the one whos going to pay for the food. Why would someone pay for something when they are being ordered around?
After we ordered our food, we decided to complete our dinner with some dessert. So I ordered a falooda for me. As we all know that the falooda is served in a tall glass. The spoons they provided me were regular spoons that were smaller than the length of the glass, which could reach only half way through the glass. When I asked the waiter for a longer spoon that is usually served with falooda. He said hell be back with a longer spoon.
After 2-3 minutes, I reached half way through the glass and called the waiter again for a longer spoon. When he came back with the spoon. It was a serving spoon. When I tried to reach the bottom of the glass with the spoon, it got stuck half way through the glass.
When I called the waiter again to get me a spoon that was long enough to reach the bottom of the glass. He said they didnt a spoon for falooda. Then I asked him why would they server a dish without the proper utensils to dine and told him that I would not pay for the falooda. I called in the manager to let him know that I would not pay for the falooda because of what happened.
When the bill arrived. In the bill instead of falooda, apple milkshake was mentioned which we never ordered. I called in the waiter again to give me an explanation. He told that falooda was not in their system registry so they had to add apple milkshake instead of falooda.
I do not understand why they would sell falooda when they dont have the right spoons for them and when theyre not in the system register. I wouldve had something else instead of a falooda and been satisfied if they wouldve told me that they didnt have a falooda. Why would they make a fool out of their customer?.
All the waiters are busy take order from every customer that enters the restaurant but they do not care about customer satisfaction. This might not be a very big thing to readers but the night for our family was messed up.
