Aadhar Card - UID

Pathetic service from UIDAI

I applied for a Aadhar card in July 2011, however my Aadhar card was dispatched in July 2013.

As it was necessary to e-verify the income tax return in 2015, when I used my Aadhar number for the same, it was non-functional.

Again, when I used my Aadhar for e-registration of rental agreement in 2015, it didn’t work. Then I came to know that my Aadhar has been deactivated. What a utter waste of time and resources? I was not even informed when my Aadhar is deactivated.

Since 2 months, I am just calling UIDAI and visiting local Aadhar office. The UIDAI people don’t have any clue, or tell me that it takes 90 days for updation of any data. So, it means that I have to wait for another 90 days(in 21st century, with so much IT advancement) to hear any other stupid reply. On the suggestion from local Aadhar office people, I applied for another Aadhar card, so now I have to sit back for another few months/years until I get a new Aadhar number.

The customer care executives sitting in UIDAI office at Bangalore don’t have any information. They have pre-prepared replies for your mail, and they just copy and send it. One of them was not even ready to accept that my Aadhar card has been deactivated. He was telling me that all the systems where I am using it are faulty, that is why the card is not working.

There is a serious fault in a system which has been made mandatory for Indian citizens. My sincere request to our diplomats to please rectify this system, or don’t make Aadhar a mandatory document.
