Aadya motors nagawara-Ebon-bunch of fraudstar

I am sharing my pathetic experience with AAdya motors, Bangalore near Nagawara.


I gave my vehicle for yearly servicing(oil change etc and occasional check engine error for 2/3 days) on 22nd Dec 2016. Mr Swami, service advisor attended my car. He suggested change of spark cable(~Rs 1200) as there were some minor rat bite. He also suggested AC cleaning and engine carbonation as engine is 77k run. I agreed for both along with oil change and filter change. Later he called me for problematical right axle(I have no clue on it), which will cost me Rs 7000 and I disagreed for such fix.


On 23rd Dec 2016 I took my car back. Billing was Rs 9500+(Don’t remember the exact amount now) includes oil, filter, spark plug, spark cable change, AC cleaning. Mr Swami told he discounted engine cleaning . He suggested; my car is old and I should change time belt, water pump etc as soon as possible for Rs 8000, and axle is not so important.


While returning back my car started to jerk and vibrate during idle, problem with gear change also started, moreover check engine light came back.


I took the car back on 24th Dec 2016, they suggested cylinder 2 is misfiring and they changed the cable . I took the car back but problem returned back with gradual increase in vibration.


I contacted customer care and then ebony motor manager Paramesh asked me to take the car to them for another check up.


I again went back on 28th Dec 2016(my 4th visit and 8 th to-fro journey) around 1 pm. I was told to wait as they will fix the problem and return the car in 2 hours. I waited till 6:15 pm and monitored their work. They checked spark plugs, fuel injectors, later they opened time belt and tighten some tensioner and did tappet adjustment till 6:15 pm. And suggested me they need more time to do further checking as they could not find the problem.


Next day 29th Dec, 2016 I called them and they suggested vibration need to be fixed using engine head overhauling and they can do it at discounted price of Rs. 25000.


I disagreed and took my car with check engine light on, vibration, jerking, which is now sluggish and poor pick up even at 1st gear.


I gave my car to Prerna motors, Peenya service center on same day i.e 29th Dec 2016 . I took the car back on 31st Dec 2016.


They had to change all saprk plugs(main cause of vibration and misfiring). They even told; out of 4 spark plugs, three were three new and one old(Although ebony charged me for 4 new spark-plugs). They had to do tappet re-adjustment(Aadya tightened too much and there was no gap left) and timing belt re-adjustment(timing was not done correct) total cost is Rs 5100. My car axel, time belt, engine is in very good condition.


Now I want an answer from Aadya motors. How they are running a business . They have some ethics or fraudsters sitting there? They have any integrity or cheating is the best business strategy. The work which could have been done for 5000(only oil change), they took 9500 plus and screwed up my car for further fixes. I understand they don’t like to take small work and they know very well how to make it big. Also to Tata’s my reminder as a customer is don’t give your dealership every other group who come with some good money if you really want to do better in passenger vehicle market. People not only look for good design but good and honest after sales service as well. I know it is well known to you but it is a reminder how people in Aadya is playing with Tata’s fame.
