In competition to the Zee’s Horror show, Sony TV came up with their thriller serial ’’Aahat’’. Initially it was purely a thriller serial but slowly the stories started to have more of para-scientific touch. The serial once enjoyed the no. one position among all the thrillers coming on all the channels. It was due to the fact that the stories were based more on thrills than on horror. Moreover , the stories were of different type unlike zee horror show stereotype ones. But slowly it has changed into a horror serial , the stories are based only on spirits and in my opinion this has brought the popularity of the serial down to a very low level.
It should stick to the thriller only.
Similar kind of serials like ’’Thriller at 10’’ , ’’Khauff’’ are gaining popularity because of that.
