I have always aspired to be a Doctor, and started preparing for it right after the Class X. I shared the dream of becoming a Doctor with my mother. Though she never pressurized me for this, but has made it obvious that she would be more than happy if I make it to a Medical college. Because of the lack of resources I was scared at the beginning that I could never be able to make it to medical entrance exam.
As I stay in Saharanpur where not many resources are available to help me prepare well for the NEET, I was not hoping much when I started the preparation. But, I was surprised to know that the classroom centre of Aakash Institute is available in the city and that too in my vicinity. One of my cousins who is living in New Delhi joined Aakash Institute while her medical preparation. As she qualified for the CBSE Medicals with high scores, I always went to her for advice. She always wanted me to come to Delhi and join the Aakash Institute. But now as this institute has its centre in Saharanpur as well, she advised me to join it instantly. I feel privileged that I found the centre of Aakash here. As the centre is close to my residential locality, I don’t have to spend much time in commuting to the centre every day. This way, I get more time for the preparation.
I joined the 2-year course for NEET right just after the Class X exam. The preparation for the Class XII board and the NEET is going on at the same time. The mentors at the centre are really good and they help me with doubt clearance every time. I look forward to the doubt clearance sessions at the centre that happen quite frequently for students’ help. Also, during classroom sessions, we are free to clear our doubts and ask questions. This helps us in gaining more confidence about the preparation.
If you have also enrolled for the NEET preparation course at Aakash, then you should not miss the All India Aakash Test Series. The test series helps me in assessing my performance at regular intervals. I often score well, but sometimes I fail to perform that good in certain subjects. But, the mentors help me in knowing about my weak areas and guide me through the subjects or chapters that need more clarity.
Just a few months are left for the NEET exam, but I am quite hopeful and confident about my performance. Thanks to my faculties who keep motivating me and also advise me to never give up on revision.
