Basically you need to avoid these guys. Else you are stepping into trouble.
After we paid up the initial booking amount, their TONE changed from VERY HELPFULL to NEUTRAL. On the day of packing, they were short-staffed. They brought in laborers who knew nothing about packing or moving.
After packing(which was half done, coz they didn’t get enough poly-wrap) & loading, their TONE changed from "NEUTRAL" to "DEMANDING". Their sales guy, with whom I started this transaction/gave us estimate, fell below the GRACE-level of a Govt. Babu - he was asking for TIP / Cash Bribe to take care of our stuff, for its rest of the journey. The same guy 2 days earlier, was talking "you being from Haryana, my home state - we will take all care & give the best rates". TRAP!
Don’t fall prey to such traps & sympathy talk. Its a WOLF in SHEEP’s skin.
They took money for "insurance", but later refused to issued receipt - TRAP!
When our stuff landed at Bangalore, they DEMANDED(like ransom) all payment before unloading the stuff. They wanted to come back next day to do un-packing(TRAP!), but by than we had understood that its a WOLF, so we made them unpack right then.
On un-packing we found Rats & rat babies in our stuff - remember few lines above, I told you they didn’t poly-wrap all our stuff which was part of the deal.
Just re-iterating other review: They are not trust worthy at all. Owner(& employees) of Akash Packing & Shipping Co will talking very softly & nicely, initially. But they will change in a blink of an eye after they have your goods loaded & service charges in their pockets.
