I moved to delhi 6 months back from pune. In my hunt for cheaper & reasonable packers I came across some of the packers in which’akash packing & shipping’ was one. the main contact person some mr. jp sharma from(haryana state native based in pune) appeared to be very nice and said’ dont worry I will take care for everthing’ so I didn’t get in written what shall be charged as I had several other headaches to deal with it. He started showing his colors when he arrived to my home for packing. he let all the packing done and moved to his store then came up with 2-3 extra taxes for additional things which I wasn’t told about. being typical’gaonwala’ he wasn’t shy of fighting with me.
Before he gets abusive and create a scene in society I had him discuss the things and paid 1000 extra to his pocets and some extra charges. I knew I have been trapped but it was too late. Things didn’t stop here for me. When I reached delhi, my car was handed over to me with broken gear box.Somehow their driver managed to pull it to near my home(using some sort of cloths tighty wrapped around gears) without telling me the problem the driver quickly get into the bus and I was left me between the road to struggle and take my car to parking. When I contacted local office of’Akash packers’ some op sharma picked up and refused to take the responsibility. few days later they reminded me of collecting the goods. I argued that they shall keep it with them as they have taken the money & promised to keep it for 15 days.
When I asked them to send it to my address on 13th day they stated asking another 3500 rupees for delay. I said I won’t do this as I have already paid lot of. The local office refused to deliver the goods. we had arguments after this this local guy asked me to pay 12000 inclusive of taxes otherwise no delivery. I was shocked. I came back to paying 3500 as I didn’t want to fight being very new to delhi . now this guy came with a trick. he told me that he will send a person to collect the money then the goods would be delivered. I couldn’t agree anymore so decided to take the help of’special cell’ in delhi.
I registerted a complaint and the inspector on duty made a call to local office. Friends, these guys are always afraid of’speciall cell’ so don’t hesitate and talk to police. After that he agreed to deliver the goods to my place. Now another shock was that he kept my luggage at some third party godowm a stinking place in a narrow street. though they promised for their own go-down. what a lie! I lerant from the go-down owner that they don’t have their go-down and even any carrier. They do send all the goods by’Maruti car big TRucks’ and store them locally at any storage for cheap. I could see lot of goods lying there.
My Almirah, trunk and dressing table came broken. the palstic items were all messed up during packing so I had to throw them. IT WAS A COMPLETE PAIN AND LOSS OF MONEY. Friends, for your infomation.’Akask shipping & packing’ is not a ISO certfied company. Though in verbal communication they claim to be certified and give refrence of their website and client base. It is actually run by thugs especially in PUNE. Be aware of mr. shrama or anyone of this compnay from hryana origin. same stupid people. they are a group of illitrate’gaonwala’ type people. do’t mind cheating you and using abusive language. Always choose ISO company.’goel’ &’assocaited’ are some of good packers around with reasonable rates.’AkAsh’ appeared to be more costly than these in end. Friend be aware of these cheaters. In case you use them be HIGHLY CAUTIOUS.
