The leader

The movie starts off with an NRI doctor returning back to india. He is caught off at airport by some people who want their work done through him. His family has been kidnapped and unless he does whatever has been told to him, they might be killed.

So, our aamir runs from pillar to post. Goes from one place to another - as has been told to him. Finally he gets a red briefcase full of money which is stolen from him. And he fights with the goons to get it back. He gets on a bus to deliver the briefcase to its destination. But in the middle, it is told to him to leave the briefcase in the bus itself. At that moment it striked him that he has been tricked with and the briefcase has been exchanged with another red one which has a bomb.

The confusion that is shown on his face and the realization of what he is about to do makes him go back and save the bus. But the system names him a terrorist.

The movie is quite offbeat. Something which is totally new in the indian cinema. The pace of the movie is fast. And you are at the edge of your seat throughout the movie. You expect the hero to be free in the end.

But the story here is of a common man. A man who does not have super powers or someone who is like you and me. This could happen to anyone. In today’s world where people in a flat dont know who lives next door, it is quite possible. How many times have you found people in need of your help and you have turned your eyes somewhere else to avoid helping them. So that you are not harrassed by the system - the police, the media etc.

AAMIR - is a leader who shows us the way to put an end to terrorism in the name of "fight for freedom - jehad" or whatever. Peace and wellbeing of everyone around us is the message delivered.

The movie hits you at the exact spot. And makes you think in its direction. It delivers its message very well.
