I usually watch such cult movies after taking a peek into the user reviews. The highly laudatory reviews of Amir steered me to catch this movie. But at the last I was just wandering what was so special and classy in this movie? This movie is like any other Bollywood flick which looks like a copy of an old Hollywood movies.
Though the plot and cinematography was good, there was lack of Dialog Delivery in the movie.Action capabilities of Rajeev Khandelwal could have been more exploited provided he had uttered something in the film (apart from Mujhe Ghar jana he ...blah blah blah).
The movie was also bit slow as the message the Director wanted to convey was distracted by some treasure hunt kinda sequences in the middle of the movie. The concept was good but that bear fruits only in the last 10 minutes, that is in the climax. Pre Climax, you would only see a man giving directions to Rajeev Khandelwal (wandering whether they were playing treasure hunt) and our hero trembling with his rock solid expression less face.
The movie is lined up along with Shaurya as of one of the worth watching movies of 2008 (kept me guessing why), but it lacks a strong and unforgettable performance (as delivered by K K Menon ) as in Shaurya.
Overall a indifferent movie that is highly over-rated.
