’’Ladies and Gentlemen. The first Indian Idol is Abhijeet Sawant.’’ This line is still remembered by the ’Abhijeet Fanatics’ including me. The all awaited Indian Idol Final round came to an end and then started the recording of the AAPKA ABHIJEET SAWANT album recording. Finally it was out on 7th of April this year. It was really an album of a lifetime for AS and for me, it was rs.55 worth a collection of 10 extremely melodious songs sung by AS. It was another cassette to my collection of over 300 cassettes. But believe me, this album is the only album in my collection which I have loved the most. I do not like the rock or rap music albums which have an english touch to it. So this album is the best for me. Though there is a song titled ’lamha’ in this album which is a disco type song. But still I cannot sacrifice other good songs for the sake of just one song. The Music is very melodious by Biddoo and Raju Singh. But there is one song composed by biddo which have already been sung and recorded earlier in the Biddoo’s private album BOOM BOOM. That song is ’Jaana.’ It has been sung by AS and Prajakta Shukre in this album. Before the competition started, it was announced that the winner will get a chance to record an album. That time, I really never expected that it would be such a wonderful album. There was a great publicity of this album thru posters, media etc. Surely there were other good contestants too in the line. But in the end, what matters is the best. I am looking forward to the Indian Idol 2006 where I will also be able to participate and show my talent. But I recommend, surely buy this album.
