NOTE: This review is being issued in public welfare by a sincere social worker who is very much concerned about the welfare of all the members of MS community.

All normal human beings reading this review are hereby instructed not to show enough courage to watch this movie in theatre. Those who don’t agree: ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Today after a long time three movies released on the same day. Instead of watching “pyaar mein twist” and “ramji londonwaley”, I rushed to catch this one. What I went through during the movie, I am writing here. The film which was in news because of its hit music is directed by a first timer Aaditya Dutt. This year has seen maximum no. of debutant directors. But then as every love story need not be a rosy one. Similarly u can’t expect every newcomer to be a bunch of talent. Well first of all let me give you a glimpse of the story.

.

The film opens with a hospital scene where three wounded youngsters are being carried to the door of ICU. As the door closes, film opens with a flashback. Karan(Sonu Sood) and Sneha(Tanushree Dutta) are close buddies. While Sneha considers Karan her best friend, Karan is in love with her but being an introvert, he never found enough courage to tell her. Enters Vicky(Emraan Hashmi), Karan’s childhood friend in their life, who instantly shares an excellent rapport with Sneha and makes her fall in love with him. Karan being a true friend warns Sneha that Vicky is a selfish playboy, who can’t withstand a girl more than a few months. Sneha being blind in love ignores him but one day she finds Vicky in bed with another woman. She decides to end their relationship, but Vicky is in no mood to let her go so easily and he starts harassing her. One day police arrest Vicky for drug possession. This is when Karan finally proposes Sneha and asks her to marry him. On their engagement night Vicky comes there. Sneha asks him to go away from her life, but Vicky has something to tell her : That is the reason why he is so possessive of her even after being caught red-handed.

Now your mind must be full of queries like:

1) What was that Vicky was going to tell Sneha.

2) How did all of them get admitted to the hospital.

3) Who get the girl finally?

For answers to the above questions don’t u dare to go and see the movie, instead of that mail me and I‘ll send u rest of the story, and if u are really desperate to go then don’t forget to send your name for Red and White Gallantry Award.

There are very few characters other than the three main protagonists in the movie and during the entire 2 1/2 hours the camera is focused on those three only.

Emraan Hashmi looks comfortable in a role which requires him to do what he does best(u know that! Right!!!). So here also we have enough demonstration of his lips and tongue therapy. Apart from that he is just mediocre. In some of the scenes he goes over the top and it seems like testing your nerves. Whatever be the future of his acting carrier but he will no doubt be remembered as one of the luckiest guy of the century and why not? After all how many men have this pleasure of kissing (or rather much more than that) so many beautiful women, that also onscreen. First Mallika, then Diya, then Udita and now Tanushree. Guess who is next on the list?

Sonu Sood: After a disastrous debut in “bhagat singh” and equally pathetic role in “sheesha”, here too he doesn’t seem to improve a single bit. As if his acting capabilities were not enough, the director too seems to put some heavy garlands on his grave. Considering his 6.1” gym toned physique and absolutely wooden looks which wise man will cast him as a sensitive and introvert lover? But by now u must have learnt how wise is the director?

The only saving grace in this mayhem is the sultry newcomer from Jamshedpur, Tanushree Dutta who may not match the calibers of Vidya Balan, but as a debutant her acting was better than expected. Regarding her appearance, she was not only hot but she seems to burn the screen especially in the title track. She has a great body, her eyes are seductive to the core and she has an equally killing smile. Once two or three more films of her will come, she would surely be a hot property. I hope she won’t follow the footsteps of Dhupia and Sherawat, for which she is expected to get lots of offers after this film.

The only time u feel somewhat conscious is the time when the songs come. The title track (already a chartbuster) is superb and is 200% more better onscreen (complete the review & u ’ll know why?). ’’aap ki kashish’’ is an another fine no. Rests of the songs are also good. At least in one department the movie is above the edge.

Director Aditya Dutt is clearly in wrong business. In the beginning his film looks like a serious sentimental drama, later it appears as a love triangle, then a psychic story and at last it ends as a suspence flick!! The reality is that it is none of them, in fact it’s a

complete waste of time and money. Also he has tried to show enough nudity as well as vulgarity.

Don’t u believe me: check this out;

1) Tanushree has never been given a single non cleavage showing outfit.

2) In the title track u will get her body closely focused from every possible angle along with the enlarged view of her tongue interchange session with Emraan.

3) There is a scene in the movie where Emraan and Tanushree caught in a traffic jam and tanushree wants to go to toilet. When he advices her to come out, she replies: “I can’t move. Agar hili bhi to…..” It was meant to be a comic situation in the film. Just look at the improvement of comedy scenes in our cinema!!!

One more thing: The dialogues in the film are the worst I have seen in the recent movies. Almost all the conversations between the lead actors are boring as well as ridiculous. The constant transfer between the flashback and current life is also a dragging factor. But if I will start recollecting all such factors, I don’t think that much space is there for.

Walking out of the theatre I was thinking the appropriate title for this film can be (that I mentioned) only.

Well after reading this reviews u have two options:

1) Rate the review, write a comment appreciating my concern for u and forget about the movie.

Or

2) Go and taste your endurance limits in the theatre, come home, rate my review, write a comment appreciating my concern for u and forget about the movie.

HEY ! WHICH ONE IS YOUR CHOICE ?

PLZ LET ME KNOW!!!
