Where debutante directors are laying their hands on subjects like suspense, thrillers, page 3 culture, Aditya Datt has laid his hands on romantic flick ’Aashiq Banaya Apne’.
The film’s music though had already created waves before its release and till date it’s topping the charts, plus the sizzling chemistry between its lead pair Emraan Hashmi and Tanushree Dutta was being thought as another add on to assure the success.
But unfortunately, the movie turned out to be the same love triangle.
I am sure Aditya must have thought that major hits are given by rikshaw walas so y not to start with love triangle which wud definitly be apprecited by rickshaw walas, so he had all the ingredients for their recipe.
Good music, skin show, Emran were the USPs of the movie.
Such a common and predictable love story, I really wondered wht made Aditya to pick this subject.
