1)Aashiq banaya Aapne (Rating:)
You’ll fall in love with this song.I like the way how a tabla and violin are used together which make a beautiful composition by Himesh Reshammiya who has sung this song beautifully(mind it, this is his debut as a singer!).Shreya Goshal has also sung a few lines.
2)Mar java mit java (Rating:½)
This one is sung by Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant and Sunidhi Chauhan.Frankly speaking, when I got to know that this is sung by Abhijeet Sawant, I didnt believe it because I couldn’t recognise his voice.But anyways, it’s a nice song with some nice beats.
3)Aapki kashish (Rating:)
Seriously one nice song.Generally I don’t like love songs but this one’s well sung by Himesh Reshammiya and Ahir(a new female lead). A track that could have easily made Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan saab proud, the best part of the track is the fusion of Sufi style and Western arrangements that make this romantic number enjoyable.
4)Dilnashi dilnashi (Rating:½ )
This one is a new addition in my list of favourites.The beats are like-able and dance-able and by the way, the song is sung by K.K.
5)Dillagi mein jo beet jaye (Rating:**)
Ok, I don’t like this song.But, the beats can be like-able to some.It is sung by Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Himesh Reshammiya, Jayesh Gandhi, Sunidhi Chauhan and Vasundhara Das.
6)Aashiq banaya aapne(remix) (Rating:)
It rocks.I love to hear this one again and again.If you liked the title song, you’ll love this one.The beats are both like-able and dance-able(You bet!!)
7)Dilnashi dilnashi(remix) (Rating:**)
I don’t like the remix of this song.One word to describe this remix would be ’stupid’.
8)Aapki kashish(remix) (Rating:)
Not bad.It deserves a place in the category of like-able music.
All in all, Aashiq banaya aapne is a great album with some great compositions.The credit goes to Himesh Reshammiya.
The bottomline: A must buy.
