I had a very disappointing experience at this hospital and with a reputed dermatologist (I prefer not to mention names).
I developed an infection on my hand from an insect bite and called the hospital around 9 p.m. to book an appointment for the next day. However, the staff asked me to come immediately. I reached the hospital by 10:10 p.m., where the OPD was already crowded. After registering, I received token number 16.
While waiting, several patients were complaining at the reception that they had been waiting since 9 p.m. and the doctor still hadnt arrived. Some even took refunds and left. The doctor eventually arrived around 10:30 p.m., and consultations began.
To my surprise, each consultation lasted barely 30 seconds. When it was finally my turn, I explained my issue and showed the infection, but the doctor barely examined it and quickly wrote a prescription. My consultation was over in less than half a minute.
Unfortunately, the prescribed medication made things worse. Within two days, my infection had spread, and my hand became severely swollen. It was clear that proper attention or diagnosis hadnt been given.
I then visited Aster Hospital, where the doctor took the time to thoroughly examine my hand, discuss the previous medication, and prescribe a more suitable treatment plan. He also advised on next steps if the infection didnt improve. Within four days of starting the new medication, the infection completely subsided and my hand began healing.
Im extremely grateful to the doctor at Aster for his professionalism and care. In contrast, my experience at Aayug felt like dealing with a business rather than a healthcare provider. It seemed that making money was the priority, not patient well-being.
I strongly advise others to think twice before visiting such commercialized hospitals. Your health deserves better attention and care.
