I have been using ABC Broadband for the last three months
1) 11-6-2011 I was working online then suddenly my downloading speed reduced to 60kpbs
I called up the customer service logged a complaint.I was told that the engineers would visit me
2) The engineers from ABC Broadband visited and told me that I have already used more than that I could use according to my plan
3) I called up the customer service again and confirmed that I have not exceeded the limit, according to them I have used 6.9GB.That means my free usage is
5000MB and my actual usage is 7065MB( ie , 1024*6.9 =7065)
4) This says that I have used 2065MB apart from the free usage.My plan says if I use more than 5000 MB and the charges beyond free usage will be charged
10 Paise per MB.If you do a simple calculation , ie 2065*0.1=Rs 206
Total 499+206=705.
According to my plan only if I reach the maximum value of Rs999 the speed will be reduced up to 64kpbs.
5) I discussed these details with the CCE, she agreed and promised a call back form the technical team , that was around 2PM
6) But I never received a call on that day
7) 12-6-2011 the tech team tried to contact me at 9.45AM, since I was in the Church I could not attend the call
8) As soon as I saw the missed call I contacted the Customer service ( around 12.30PM), I was told that I would get a call at 1.00 Pm
9) But it did not happen
10)I contacted the Customer service again( around 2.30PM), I was told that I would get a call by 4.00 Pm
11) But it did not happen
12) I contacted the Customer service again in the evening, and asked foa supervisor he place me on hold more than 15 minutes and hung on me
13) I called up again, again they hung on me
14) Finally they arranged a conference call call with the tech team around 9.30pm, I gt one Mr Kulpreet online and I was promised that they are going to escalate this and the issue would be resolved in 8hours
15) 13-6-2011 I received a call from ABC Broadband Technical team(Kulpreet), i was told that there was some miscalculation , kept saying that I have exceeded the usage limit, even though he is aware of the fact
16) I asked for the supervisor , finally got a person claiming to be the supervisor
and he told me that he was not aware of this issue( I DONT UNDERSTAND THEN , WHAT KIND OF ESCALATION WAS GOING ON), he says another 8 working hours to resolve the issue, I already had spent nearly 2hours in this call
17) I contacted the Customer service again , asked to disconnect my connection, I got one Nikesh online and he arranged a Conference call with tech team.got Mr Kulpreet online.He kept saying that everything out of his control
he wont be able to do any thing(I WONDER IF HE KNOWS SIMPLE MATHEMATICS )
